Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 65 years of age
- People who are scheduled for planned (non-emergency) back surgery involving the placement of hardware or implants in the lower spine

- People with a history of alcohol or substance abuse

- People with a known allergy to propofol, sevoflurane, or remifentanil (medicines used during anaesthesia)
