Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are a woman who has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • You are older than 18 years of age
  • You have moderate to severe bladder or urinary symptoms, based on a specific symptom score (called the AUASS score) of more than 8 (confirm with trial site)
  • You do not currently have a urinary tract infection (UTI)

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have taken certain bladder medications (called alpha-blockers, B3 agonists, or anticholinergics) in the last 6 weeks
  • You have received certain bladder treatments — such as sacral neuromodulation, Botox injections into the bladder, or posterior tibial nerve stimulation — within the last 9 months
  • Your kidneys are not working well enough, based on a specific kidney function measurement (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a large amount of urine left in your bladder after going to the toilet, above a certain level (confirm with trial site)
  • You have been diagnosed with a condition where your blood pressure drops when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension)
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have severe liver disease (a specific level called Child-Pugh class C)
  • You currently have kidney stones that are causing symptoms
  • You have had an MS relapse (a flare-up of symptoms) within the last 3 months
  • You have been treated with steroid medication in the last 3 months (note: a single dose of steroids given before certain other treatments may not count — confirm with trial site)
