Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are living with obesity, or who are overweight and also have at least one weight-related health condition (such as high blood pressure or fatty liver disease), who have been taking a type of weight-loss medication called an incretin receptor agonist for at least 6 months, and who have lost 10% or less of their body weight during that time
- People who are willing to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have certain medical conditions that can significantly affect body weight, such as Cushing's syndrome, thyroid disease that is not well controlled, or cancer (confirm with trial site)
- People who have taken certain medications — other than incretin receptor agonists — in the past 3 months that can affect body weight, such as steroids (glucocorticoids) or antipsychotic medicines
- People who have a skin infection or skin damage in or around the ear area
- Women who are planning to become pregnant in the near future
- People who are unable to have an MRI scan — for example, those who have metal implants in their body or who experience severe anxiety in enclosed spaces
- People who have been diagnosed with diabetes
- People who are unlikely to be able to complete the full 12-week programme due to practical reasons, such as frequent or extended travel
