Who might be able to join this trial:
- Your body mass index (BMI — a measure of weight relative to height) is between 18 and 40 (inclusive).
- You have been officially diagnosed with Narcolepsy Type 1 (a sleep disorder that causes extreme daytime sleepiness and sudden muscle weakness) according to recognised medical diagnostic guidelines.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a medical condition other than narcolepsy with cataplexy that also causes extreme daytime sleepiness.
- You have a history of heart attack, significant thyroid problems, coronary artery disease, irregular heart rhythm, or heart failure.
- You have a significant history of head injury or head trauma.
- You have a history of epilepsy, seizures, or convulsions (except for a single fever-related seizure during childhood).
- You have a history of a stroke, a mini-stroke within the last 5 years, a brain aneurysm, or an abnormal connection between blood vessels in the brain.
- You have been diagnosed with cancer in the past 5 years (some exceptions may apply — confirm with trial site).
- Your blood tests at screening show a positive result for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV.
- You are currently taking part in, or plan to join, another clinical trial at the same time, or you have previously taken part in another part of this same trial.
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the study drug TAK-360 or similar compounds.
