- People who have had an amputation of one or both legs

- People with serious or unstable health conditions, such as uncontrolled heart failure, uncontrolled diabetes, unstable chest pain, a recent heart attack, uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe lung disease, or an active infection

- People who attend fewer than 2 haemodialysis sessions per week
- People who would have difficulty understanding the assessments used in the trial
