  • People with significant abnormalities in their heart rhythm or electrical activity, as detected by a heart tracing test (ECG)
  • People taking certain medications that are not permitted in this trial, including GLP-1 therapies (such as some diabetes or weight-loss injections), immune-suppressing drugs, long-term anti-inflammatory medications, or certain drugs that affect how the body processes other medicines
  • People for whom an MRI scan would not be safe or suitable
  • People with a significant problem affecting how their stomach empties, those taking medications that affect gut movement, those who have had weight-loss surgery (such as gastric bypass or other bariatric procedures), or those who have had a device-based or endoscopic treatment for obesity
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
