Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Adults aged 18 or older
  • People whose ability to carry out daily activities meets a minimum level, as measured by a standard medical scale called the Karnofsky Performance Status (score of 70 or above)

  • People who are able and willing to provide written informed consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have previously been treated with a drug called bevacizumab
  • People for whom chemotherapy or targeted drug therapy is planned following the study treatment
  • People who have previously had a specialised form of focused radiotherapy (stereotactic re-irradiation) in the same area of the brain being targeted in this trial
  • People whose tumour has come back more than three times
  • People living with significant psychiatric conditions
  • People with significant neurological conditions unrelated to their brain tumour
  • People who have an implanted device such as a pacemaker, defibrillator, deep brain stimulator, or any other electronic implant that may be incompatible with the study procedures
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People with active bleeding inside the brain
  • People with high blood pressure that is not well controlled
  • People with severely reduced kidney function
  • People already taking part in another clinical study that is likely to interfere with this one
