Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults between 18 and 65 years old who are living with obesity and have not had weight loss (bariatric) surgery
• Adults between 18 and 65 years old who are living with obesity, have had weight loss (bariatric) surgery, and lost less than a certain amount of weight within 18 months after the surgery (specifically, less than 50% of their excess weight lost, as calculated by the trial team)
• Adults between 18 and 65 years old who are living with obesity, have had weight loss (bariatric) surgery, and have regained a significant portion of the weight they had previously lost (specifically, more than a 25% increase from their lowest recorded weight, as calculated by the trial team)

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have an acute illness, an active infection, or certain other health conditions that could affect the safety or effectiveness of the treatment — this includes cancer, type 1 diabetes, kidney or liver failure, a recent stroke or heart attack, kidney stones, drug or alcohol misuse, eating disorders, severe depression or other mental health conditions, inflammatory bowel disease, certain tumours, heart rhythm problems, heart failure, respiratory failure, or those currently taking corticosteroid medications
• People who are professional athletes
