Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who are currently taking certain medications that work by blocking part of the immune system called the complement system (such as eculizumab, zilucoplan, ravulizumab, or similar drugs) — though people who stopped taking zilucoplan or eculizumab more than 2 months before the start of the trial, or ravulizumab more than 6 months before, may still be considered eligible (confirm with trial site).
- People who have taken a type of medication known as an FcRn antagonist — including a drug called efgartigimod — within the 4 weeks before the start of the trial.
- People who have previously received the investigational drug being studied in this trial (empasiprubart) at any time.
