Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are female
- People aged 45 years or older
- People who have gone through menopause
- People who are already attending a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation outpatient clinic
- People who are already having a routine bone density scan (DEXA) and related blood tests for osteoporosis as part of their care
- People who are willing and able to sign a written consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have not yet gone through menopause
- People whose bone loss is caused by another condition, such as cancer, advanced kidney disease, severe liver disease, or certain hormone or gland disorders
- People who currently have an active infection or an acute inflammatory condition
- People who have had major surgery within the past 6 months
- People who have a neurological or muscular condition that significantly affects how their muscles work
- People who would not be able to follow the study procedures and complete the required assessments
- People who are currently taking medications that strongly affect bone health, such as bisphosphonates, denosumab, teriparatide, or similar treatments for osteoporosis
- People who are unwilling or unable to sign a written consent form
