Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with advanced or returning endometrial carcinoma or carcinosarcoma (specific types of uterine cancer), confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue
- People who have not previously been treated with a type of cancer treatment known as immune checkpoint inhibitors
- People who are able to provide two types of stored tumour tissue samples (one fresh-frozen and one preserved in a specific way called FFPE)
- People who are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in a research study involving biological samples
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable or unwilling to give their consent to participate, either personally or through a legal representative
- People whose cancer is a type that originates from connective tissue, or from epithelial cells outside the uterus (for example, ovarian cancer)
- People who are currently receiving treatments that affect the immune system at the time their tissue samples are collected (for example, immunotherapy used for autoimmune conditions)
- People who have a known diagnosis of HIV, hepatitis B, or hepatitis C
