Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Women between 18 and 39 years of age
  • People who have been diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis (a severe form of endometriosis) confirmed by ultrasound at the study centre

  • People for whom hormone replacement therapy or the study medication (a type of hormonal injection called GnRH-a) would not be medically appropriate
  • People with osteoporosis (low bone density) or low mood/depression
  • People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial
  • People who are unable to attend the required study visits and follow-up appointments, or who plan to receive other treatments during the study period
