Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women between 18 and 39 years of age
- People who have been diagnosed with deep infiltrating endometriosis (a severe form of endometriosis) confirmed by ultrasound at the study centre
- People who are about to undergo their first frozen embryo transfer cycle using hormone replacement therapy to prepare the uterine lining
- People who have at least one good-quality frozen embryo stored
- People who are willing to take part in the study and able to sign a consent form in person
Who may not be able to join:
- People with an abnormal chromosome result
- People with certain uterine conditions that could affect the shape of the uterus or pregnancy outcomes, such as significant scar tissue inside the uterus, certain types of fibroids, moderate to severe adenomyosis, a uterus that did not form normally, tuberculosis of the uterine lining, or a uterine lining that is too thin at a key point in the treatment cycle
- People who have had multiple failed embryo implantation attempts in the past (confirm with trial site for the specific number)
- People for whom hormone replacement therapy or the study medication (a type of hormonal injection called GnRH-a) would not be medically appropriate
- People with osteoporosis (low bone density) or low mood/depression
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial
- People who are unable to attend the required study visits and follow-up appointments, or who plan to receive other treatments during the study period
