- People who are willing to take part in the study, attend follow-up appointments as scheduled, and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a previous surgery on the thyroid gland or neck
- People who have a history of cervical spine (neck) problems, neck surgery, neck injury, or any other condition that affects how the neck moves
- People who have developed complications after surgery that make neck movement exercises unsafe, such as damage to a specific nerve involved in speaking (the recurrent laryngeal nerve), a fluid leak from the lymphatic system, the need for a second surgery, a wound that requires prolonged draining, or an infection at the surgical site
- People who have ongoing dizziness after surgery, or any other condition that makes exercise unsuitable
- People who are unable to use the WeChat app and do not have a family member available to help them use it
