Who might be able to join this trial:
Endometriosis Group:
- Women between 18 and 45 years of age
- Women who have been diagnosed with active endometriosis, confirmed through ultrasound, MRI, or keyhole surgery
Control Group (comparison group without endometriosis):
- Women between 18 and 45 years of age
- Women who do not have endometriosis or any other gynaecological condition
Who may not be able to join:
Endometriosis Group:
- Women younger than 18 or older than 45 years of age
- Women with endometriosis who are currently undergoing fertility hormone stimulation treatment
- Women with a current or past history of cancer of any kind, including uterine, ovarian, colon, pancreatic, or breast cancer
- Women with a history of any long-term (chronic) illness
- Women who are currently pregnant
Control Group:
- Women younger than 18 or older than 45 years of age
- Women with a past history of any illness, including cancer or any long-term (chronic) condition
- Women who are currently pregnant
