Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children and teenagers aged 6 years up to (but not including) 18 years, who weigh at least 20 kg
- People who have been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE, also known as lupus) according to specific 2019 international medical guidelines
- People who have had a kidney biopsy (a small tissue sample taken from the kidney) confirming a specific type of lupus-related kidney disease, classified as type III, IV, III+V, or IV+V

- People (or their parent/guardian) who are able to provide written consent and are expected to follow the treatment plan consistently
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose lupus diagnosis is uncertain, those with a genetic (inherited) form of lupus confirmed by genetic testing, or those with a history of immune system deficiency
- People with serious infections, including hepatitis C, active hepatitis B, HIV, tuberculosis, severe fungal infections, or similar conditions
- People with severe lupus affecting the brain or nervous system
- People with very low red blood cell levels (severe anaemia), very low platelet counts, or a condition called aplastic anaemia where the bone marrow stops making enough blood cells
- People with significant heart failure, classified at a certain severity level or above (confirm with trial site)
- People with serious lung problems, including bleeding in the lungs, breathing failure, blood clots in the lungs, or any condition requiring breathing support
- People whose kidneys are not filtering blood well enough, based on a specific blood test measurement falling below a set level
- People with serious digestive system problems, including severe gut bleeding, pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), or significant liver damage
- People whom the trial doctor considers unsuitable for the trial for any other reason
