- People who have been experiencing ongoing fatigue that has a significant effect on their daily life, based on a specific fatigue measurement scale (Chalder Fatigue Scale bimodal score of 4 or higher)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who do not have sufficient proficiency in German to complete the study questionnaires
- People who do not have the cognitive ability to understand the study procedures, for example due to dementia
- People with serious medical conditions that could interfere with taking part, such as advanced organ failure, uncontrolled inflammatory or autoimmune diseases, or severe psychiatric disorders
- People who currently have cancer or are receiving cancer treatment
- People who are assessed by the trial team as not being suited to participating in a group setting — this may include situations where someone needs a level of individual support beyond what a group can offer, is unwilling to participate in group-based therapy, has personality traits the team considers incompatible with group dynamics, does not attend the required preparatory webinar, or where the therapeutic team identifies other significant reasons
