The official eligibility criteria
Registry text, reproduced exactly. These are the words the trial's sponsor published on ClinicalTrials.gov. They have not been edited, shortened or rewritten, and they are written for researchers rather than for patients.
Inclusion Criteria:
Patients will be eligible to participate if they meet Australian guideline-recommended criteria for BP measurement, either for absolute CVD risk assessment or for BP assessment as an individual risk factor, and are attending a participating general practice clinic during the study period.
Eligible participants include:
Adults attending participating general practice clinics who are eligible for BP measurement for absolute CVD risk assessment, including:
* Adults aged 45 to 79 years without known CVD
* Adults aged 35 to 79 years with diabetes and without known CVD
* First Nations peoples aged 30 to 79 years without known CVD
Adults eligible for BP assessment as an individual risk factor, including:
* First Nations peoples aged 18 to 29 years
* Adults aged 18 years and over where BP measurement is clinically indicated based on individual risk factors or clinical judgement (e.g. suspected hypertension from BP measurements outside the clinic, obesity, abnormal cholesterol levels, secondary causes of hypertension, or time elapsed since last BP measurement)
Exclusion Criteria:
* Patients who are unable to provide informed consent.
* Patients whose participation is deemed clinically inappropriate by the treating general practitioner.

Not medical advice.
Individual trial records are refreshed on a rolling basis rather than all at once, so a record may be up to several weeks old. Each trial page and trial card shows the date its own record was last synced. Where a record has lagged, its status, sites and enrolment can differ from the current registry state in either direction, so check the registry link on the trial page before acting on them.
