Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You are the child of someone who has (or had) a specific inherited form of early-onset Alzheimer's disease, and the family has a known genetic mutation linked to this condition
- Your thinking and memory are normal, only very mildly affected, or mildly affected (this is measured using a standard scale; the trial mainly looks to enroll people who do not yet have symptoms and are more than 15 years away from the age their parent developed symptoms — people with more noticeable memory problems may also be considered with special approval)
- You have at least two people in your life (who are not your full siblings) who can answer questions about you as part of the study
- You can read and communicate comfortably in an approved language at roughly a 6th grade level or higher
- You have given written consent to take part, and so has at least one person who can provide information about you
Who may not be able to join:
- You are under 18 years old
- You have a medical or mental health condition that would make it difficult to attend the initial and follow-up study visits
- You need nursing home-level care
- You have nobody in your life who can act as an informant or contact for the study
