Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have prostate cancer that was treated mainly with surgery to remove the prostate (whether done through open surgery, keyhole surgery, or robot-assisted surgery).
  • Your PSA level (a blood marker for prostate cancer) was no higher than 20 ng/ml.

Who may not be able to join:

  • Your prostate cancer has spread to other parts of the body beyond the prostate area.
  • You have previously had chemotherapy (cancer-fighting drug treatment) for any reason.
  • You have had radiation treatment to the pelvis area in the past that would make it difficult to safely give the radiation planned in this trial.
  • You have active inflammatory bowel disease (such as active Crohn's disease, diverticulitis, or ulcerative colitis) that affects the rectum — though non-active versions of these conditions, or cases that do not affect the rectum, may be allowed (confirm with trial site).
  • You have had or currently have another type of cancer, other than certain common skin cancers, unless you have been cancer-free for at least 5 years.
  • You are currently taking Saw Palmetto (a herbal supplement) or methotrexate (a medication) and are not willing or able to stop taking them during the radiation treatment period.

Important: Always verify eligibility with the trial site directly before applying.
