Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been found to carry a specific genetic variant (a change in a gene) through testing done by one of the laboratories in the GGC-Unicancer network, where that variant has been classified as class 3, class 4, or hypomorphic class 5, and has been selected for study by a national expert group for that gene (confirm with trial site)
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have signed the written informed consent form for "index cases" (the person whose genetic result started the study)
- Family members of an index case who have cancer
- Family members of an index case who do not have cancer, chosen by the researchers based on how closely related they are to the index case
- For class 4 and hypomorphic class 5 variants: family members who are currently being tested or who have already received a test result for the genetic variant as part of their regular medical care
- Family members who are 18 years of age or older and have signed the informed consent form for "selected relatives"
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are under 18 years of age
- People who are in prison or under legal guardianship or curatorship
- People who have not signed the required written informed consent form
