Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy).
- You have had a biopsy within the last 12 months before signing up, unless your cancer already qualifies you for the higher-risk group in this study (confirm with trial site for details on whether a new biopsy is needed).
- Your cancer is at a stage from I (early) to IV (more advanced) but has not been confirmed to have spread to distant parts of the body (Stage MX-M0).
- Your cancer stage has been assessed using methods such as a physical exam, CT scan, MRI, bone scan, PSMA PET/CT scan, or biopsy.
- Your prostate is recommended to be no larger than 100 cc in volume, measured by CT, MRI, or ultrasound taken within the last 90 days (this is recommended but not strictly required).
- You are generally active and able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (known as ECOG performance status 0-1; confirm with trial site).
- You have completed the required patient questionnaires for the study.
- You have signed a consent form to participate.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously had surgery to remove your prostate or had cryotherapy (freezing treatment) on your prostate.
- You have previously had radiation therapy to your prostate or the lower pelvic area.
- You have implanted devices or materials in your body (such as metal hardware) that could interfere with treatment planning or delivery, in the opinion of the study doctor.
