Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are between 35 and 55 years old and have not yet gone through menopause (as determined by the research team at the time of joining)
• People whose breast cancer has been confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy) to be a primary invasive breast cancer
• People whose cancer is at a specific stage — the tumour is larger than 2cm but has not spread to lymph nodes or other parts of the body, and breast-conserving surgery (removing only part of the breast) is not considered possible or would significantly affect the appearance of the breast
• People whose cancer has been confirmed by lab testing to be hormone receptor-positive (meaning the cancer responds to oestrogen or progesterone, with more than 50% of cells showing this) and HER2-negative
• People who have not received any previous treatment for their breast cancer
• People who do not have another active tumour, an unstable serious health condition, or an uncontrolled infection
• People for whom there are no medical reasons preventing the use of a type of hormone-blocking medication called a third-generation aromatase inhibitor (AI), LHRHa (a hormone therapy), or chemotherapy
• People who are willing to take part voluntarily and have signed a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

• People whose cancer has been confirmed by lab testing or imaging to have spread to other parts of the body (metastatic disease)
• People who have a history of another type of cancer
• People for whom there are medical reasons preventing the use of a third-generation aromatase inhibitor (AI), LHRHa, or chemotherapy
• People who have serious heart or blood vessel disease, liver or kidney problems, blood disorders, or other health conditions that make chemotherapy unsafe or unsuitable
• People for whom surgery is not possible — for example, due to risks with anaesthesia, a very large tumour, a tumour classified as T4, or cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes
• People with psychological conditions, mental health disorders, social circumstances, or geographical situations that the research team considers unsuitable for participation
• People who are currently taking part in, or have previously taken part in, another anti-cancer treatment trial
• People who do not wish to take part in the study
