Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Men and women between 18 and 35 years old
  • People who are members or beneficiaries of a social security scheme
  • Women for whom a reliable form of contraception is in place and who have a negative pregnancy test result
  • People who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophreniform disorder according to DSM-5 criteria

Who may not be able to join:

  • Women of childbearing age for whom effective contraception (oral, hormonal injection, intrauterine device, or surgical method) is not in place
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who have a serious physical or neurological condition, including Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, debilitating involuntary movements (tardive dyskinesia), cardiovascular disease, or severe liver or kidney problems
  • People for whom an MRI scan would not be safe, including those with metal objects in the eye or brain, a pacemaker, an artificial heart valve, surgical clips, claustrophobia, large tattoos on the upper body, or any other factor not compatible with a 3-Tesla MRI machine
  • People who have had a history of alcohol or drug misuse in the past year
  • People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial or are within an exclusion period following a previous trial
  • People who investigators judge to be at risk of showing aggressive behaviour toward themselves or others
