Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who were diagnosed with cancer before age 26 and have at least one blood relative (within three degrees of relation) who was diagnosed with cancer before age 51.
- People who have had more than one cancer diagnosis, where at least one of those cancers was diagnosed before age 26.
- People who have been diagnosed with a known hereditary cancer syndrome, either through clinical assessment or genetic testing.
- People who were diagnosed with cancer before 6 months of age.
- People who were diagnosed with a rare childhood cancer or tumor before age 26 (excluding HPV-related cervical cancer and common skin cancers in adults).
- Blood relatives — whether or not they have had cancer themselves — of anyone who meets the above criteria.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable or unwilling to provide written consent, and who do not have a legally authorised representative able to provide consent on their behalf.
- People who have received a donor bone marrow transplant, do not have any pre-transplant DNA samples stored, and are unwilling to provide a skin sample.
