Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between the ages of 21 and 85, both male and female, who have never had surgery on their spine.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had surgery on the spine or the nervous system running through it
- People who have or have had cancer, whether or not it has spread to other parts of the body
- People who have connective tissue disorders, inflammatory joint conditions (such as rheumatoid arthritis), or disorders affecting the nervous system
- People who have had a knee replacement, as this can cause joint stiffness that may affect body alignment measurements
- People with severe arthritis of the hips, knees, or ankles
- People with spondylitis (a type of spinal inflammation)
- People who have had compression fractures or other injuries to the bones of the spine
- People who have previously injured or fractured the pelvis, whether or not surgery was needed
- People who have previously injured or fractured the bones of the legs and required surgery for this
- People who are pregnant
- People with a BMI (a measure of body weight relative to height) above 37
- People who score above 25 on the Oswestry Disability Index, which is a questionnaire measuring how much back or leg pain affects daily activities (confirm with trial site)
