"Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 18 or older, either male or female
• People who have been diagnosed with chronic plaque-type psoriasis for at least 6 months
• People whose psoriasis is rated as moderate to severe, based on specific skin measurement scores (BSA ≥10, PASI ≥12, and IGA ≥3 — the trial site can explain what these mean)
• People who are able to give written consent before any study procedures begin
• People who are able to attend light therapy (narrowband UVB) sessions three times per week, plus all other required study visits

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have a form of psoriasis other than chronic plaque-type (such as pustular, erythrodermic, or guttate psoriasis), or psoriasis caused by a medication
• People with a history of sensitivity to light (photosensitivity)
• People who have used certain biological medications — specifically ustekinumab or anti-IL-17 biologics within the past 24 weeks, or other biological immune-modifying treatments within the past 12 weeks
• People who have taken part in another drug trial or used an experimental drug within the past 4 weeks (or longer, depending on how long the drug stays in the body)
• People who have taken oral (swallowed) medications for psoriasis — such as methotrexate, cyclosporine, acitretin, apremilast, or oral corticosteroids — within the past 4 weeks
• People who have used topical (applied to the skin) psoriasis treatments — such as steroid creams, vitamin D creams, or retinoid creams — within the past 2 weeks
• People whose other regular medications (such as beta blockers, antimalarial drugs, lithium, or ACE inhibitors) were started, changed, or are planned to change within 3 months before or during the trial
• People who have had an active infection requiring antibiotics within the 2 weeks before the baseline visit
• People who have received UVB light therapy within 4 weeks before the baseline visit
• People who have received PUVA light therapy within 4 weeks before the baseline visit
