Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed (confirmed by a tissue sample) with advanced (stage III or IV) high-grade serous cancer of the ovaries, fallopian tubes, or the lining of the abdomen.
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are relatively active and able to carry out daily activities with little or no difficulty (confirm with trial site).
- Doctors expect you to live for at least 6 months or more.
- You are able to understand and agree to the study terms by giving your consent.
- You are willing to have blood or fluid samples taken, and to have a small piece of tumour tissue removed for the study.
- If you are joining the trial at the time of surgery, you must agree to allow part of your tumour to be used for research purposes.
- If you are joining the trial at the time your cancer has come back or worsened, previously stored tumour tissue from you must be available for the study.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have an early-stage (stage I or II) version of high-grade serous, fallopian tube, or abdominal lining cancer.
- Your cancer is a different type than high-grade serous (for example, a different cell type).
- There is a medical reason why it would not be safe for you to have a tumour biopsy or blood sample taken.
