Who might be able to join this trial:
Inception Cohort (main study group):
- Children under 18 years old who have been newly diagnosed with, or are likely to have, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) — a condition affecting the digestive system
- The diagnosis must be based on a full set of tests, including physical examination, blood tests, camera examination of the bowel, imaging scans, and tissue samples, following established medical guidelines
- The diagnosis must have been made or confirmed within 2 months of joining the study

Inception Cohort:

- Cases where the required consent from the child or parents has not been obtained
- Children who are taking treatments similar to IBD medications but for a different medical condition, or those who have a separate condition that directly affects IBD, such as an immune system disorder or a history of major bowel surgery
