Who might be able to join this trial:

For the Patient Usability Testing group:

- People aged 18 to 64
- Women
- People who were working full-time or part-time in the three months before their diagnosis, or at the time of joining a related study (confirm with trial site)
- People who can give informed consent in English or Spanish
- People who own and are able to use and read a smartphone (iPhone or Android)
- For a specific subgroup (Cohort 2): people who were covered by Emergency Medicaid at the time of their breast cancer diagnosis or at any point during their breast cancer treatment
For the main study (RCT group):
- People with localised invasive breast cancer that is not stage 0 or stage IV (stages I, II, or III)
- People who are planning to have, or are currently receiving, chemotherapy before or after surgery for breast cancer
- People aged 18 to 64
- Women
- People who are employed full-time or part-time (people on disability leave or medical leave may also be eligible — confirm with trial site)
- People whose preferred language is English or Spanish
- People who own and are able to use and read a smartphone or tablet (such as an iPad, iPhone, or Android device)
Who may not be able to join:

- People whose breast cancer is stage 0 (also called DCIS only)
- People whose breast cancer is stage IV (also called metastatic breast cancer)
- People whose breast cancer has come back and spread to other parts of the body
- People, or their immediate family members, who are already taking part in related studies at MSK focused on social factors that affect health (confirm with trial site)
