Who might be able to join this trial:
- The baby must have been born at Parkland Hospital
- The baby's mother (and/or father) must speak English or Spanish
- The baby must have been born at 30 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy or earlier (very premature)
- The baby must have survived to 33 weeks of gestational age (the equivalent point in pregnancy)
Who may not be able to join:
- Babies born with serious birth defects or major physical abnormalities
- Families who are currently involved with Child Protective Services (CPS) or where the baby has been placed in foster care
- Families who already enrolled an older brother or sister in this same study (called the PreVNT study) previously
