Who might be able to join this trial:
For young people (AYA participants):
- People aged 14 to 29 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) or lymphoma (cancers affecting blood cells or the lymphatic system)
- People who are in the maintenance phase of their treatment, have finished at least one cycle of it, and have at least one more month of maintenance treatment still to go
- People whose doctor has prescribed a medication called 6-mercaptopurine (6MP) as part of their treatment
- People who are able to communicate in English
- For those under 18, a parent or caregiver must be able to provide consent on their behalf
For caregivers:
- People who have been nominated by the young person (AYA participant) as a primary caregiver involved in their cancer care — this could be a parent, relative, partner, or friend
- People who are able to communicate in English
Who may not be able to join:
For young people (AYA participants):
- People with cognitive impairments that the medical team determines would make it too difficult to complete the study tasks or measures
- People who do not meet the inclusion criteria listed above
For caregivers:
- People who do not meet the inclusion criteria listed above
