  • Female patients of any ethnicity who are scheduled to have surgery to remove ovarian cancer tumours may be considered for this trial.

  • For the purpose of this trial, a woman is considered potentially able to become pregnant unless she has had her uterus or both ovaries surgically removed, or has gone through natural menopause with no periods for at least 12 months in a row.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are not able to give their own informed consent to participate (for example, those who require another person to make medical decisions on their behalf).
  • Vulnerable groups such as prisoners.
  • People under 18 years of age.
  • Women who are pregnant.
  • People whose final laboratory results after surgery do not confirm an invasive cancer of the ovary, fallopian tube, or peritoneum.
