Who might be able to join this trial:

• Children and young people who are between 6 years old and 16 years and 11 months old at the time of joining the study.
• People whose parent or legal guardian (and the participant themselves, where appropriate) have given written and verbal agreement to take part.
• People who have been diagnosed with psoriasis and whose condition has been assessed by a doctor as moderately severe to severe (a score of 3 or 4 on a standard medical scale) at both the screening and start-of-study visits, not counting areas on the face, scalp, armpits, or skin folds.
• People whose plaque psoriasis covers at least 10% of their body surface area (not counting the face, scalp, armpits, or skin folds) at both the screening and start-of-study visits.
• People who are willing and able to avoid prolonged exposure of the treated skin areas to natural or artificial UV light (such as sunlight or tanning equipment) for the whole duration of the study.
• People whose adrenal glands (small glands involved in producing hormones) are functioning normally, as confirmed by a specific hormone test done at the screening visit.
• Female participants who are aged 9 or older, or who could potentially become pregnant, must be willing to use effective contraception throughout the study.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have a history of adrenal gland disease.
• People who have another skin condition that could make it difficult for the study doctor to assess how the treatment areas are responding.
• People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study period.
• People who have taken part in another clinical trial or used an experimental drug or device within the past 60 days (or longer, depending on the drug), or who are currently enrolled in another clinical study.
• People who have used a topical (applied to the skin) psoriasis treatment — other than steroid creams — within 14 days before the study start visit, or who have used any steroid-containing treatment within 28 days before a specific hormone screening test.
• People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the study drug.
• People who the study doctor considers unsuitable for the trial for any other reason.
