Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are scheduled for a planned, first-time cemented total hip replacement surgery.
- Men aged 70 or older, or women aged 65 or older.
- People who are able and willing to follow study instructions and attend follow-up appointments.

Who may not be able to join:
- People with a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or higher (classified as morbidly obese).
- People who are expected to need a joint replacement in another leg joint within the next year.
- People who have a whole-body or metabolism-related condition that causes ongoing bone loss.
- People who have a deformity or disease in a joint other than the hip that requires surgery and affects their ability to walk.
- People who have an active or suspected hidden infection in or around the hip joint.
- People whose bone quality is too poor — due to disease or infection — to properly support or hold a hip implant in place.
- People who are unwilling or unable to sign the study consent form.
- People whom the trial investigator considers unsuitable for participation for any reason.
