Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 or older
- People who have weakness or loss of movement on one side of the body (in one arm or leg) caused by a stroke that affected one specific area of the brain, where the stroke occurred between 4 and 10 weeks before the start of the study
- People whose wrist and hand movement is significantly limited, based on a specific movement assessment score (the Fugl-Meyer scale) being below 16 for the wrist and hand sections
- People who have agreed to sign a consent form before joining the study
- People who are enrolled in the French Social Security system
Who may not be able to join:
- People with thinking or memory difficulties, or a worsening ongoing illness, that would make it impossible to communicate effectively or take part in the study
- People with speech or language difficulties that prevent them from understanding instructions
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial
- People who had a neurological condition (a condition affecting the brain or nervous system) before their stroke
- People who have already received mirror therapy or a specific type of visual rehabilitation (called IVS rehabilitation) before joining this study
- People with a condition affecting the joints or muscles of the hand and wrist (such as arthritis or a similar condition)
- People who are under a legal protection order (for example, those with a court-appointed legal guardian)
