Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a specific type of wrist arthritis known as SLAC (Scapholunate Advanced Collapse) or SNAC (Scaphoid Nonunion Advanced Collapse) at stage II or III, meaning moderate to advanced joint damage in the wrist.

- People who have arthritis affecting specific parts of the lunate bone in the wrist (the lunate fossa or the proximal lunate surface, or both).
- People younger than 18 or older than 75 years of age.
- People who have rheumatoid arthritis.
- People who smoke heavily, meaning more than 20 cigarettes per day.
- People who have a condition or take medication that may interfere with bone healing, such as poorly controlled diabetes, malnutrition, or regular use of steroid tablets taken by mouth.
- People who have issues with alcohol or drug misuse.
- People who have a neurological condition that affects how their arm or hand functions.
