Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 14 years or older
- People with an active condition, shown by a Kerr score of 2 or higher (a measure of disease activity — confirm with trial site)
- People with a severe form of the condition, meeting at least one of the following: very high blood pressure (above 180/110 mmHg); three or more affected blood vessels with significant narrowing (more than 70% blocked); or significant reduction in how well the heart or kidneys are functioning, measured by specific clinical scores (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe failure of one or more major organs
- People with an active infection, whether recent or long-term, including tuberculosis or hepatitis
- People who also have another autoimmune disease, such as lupus, Behcet disease, or IgG4-related disease

- People who have had a serious allergic reaction to a medication in the past
- People whose condition has relapsed twice in a row even after treatment adjustments have been made
