Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged between 18 and 80 years old.
• People who have Crohn's disease with a newly developed fibrous (scar tissue) narrowing of the intestine, confirmed by both camera examination (colonoscopy) and imaging scans, where the narrowing can be reached by colonoscopy.
• People who have a known narrowing that was previously treated with a stent or stretching procedure, as long as that treatment was done more than one year before joining the trial.
• People who have symptoms of a blocked or partially blocked intestine.
• People whose Crohn's disease has not responded to standard medical treatments.
• People whose narrowing measures less than 10 cm in length.
• People with no more than 2 intestinal narrowings.
• People who have given their written agreement to take part in the trial.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have not given their written agreement to take part.
• People whose narrowing is complicated by an abscess, a fistula (abnormal tunnel between organs), or significant Crohn's disease activity beyond just the area of narrowing.
• People who had a stent placed or a stretching procedure done on a known narrowing less than one year before the trial start date.
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• People whose health condition makes it unsafe to perform a colonoscopy or surgery.
• People whose narrowing cannot be reached by colonoscopy.
• People who have no symptoms related to the narrowing.
• People whose narrowing is 10 cm or longer.
• People who have more than 2 intestinal narrowings.
• People with serious blood clotting problems, specifically a very low platelet count or abnormal clotting test results (confirm with trial site for exact threshold details).
