Who might be able to join this trial:

• You must be 18 years old or older

• You must be experiencing an active phase of the disease, either your first episode or a flare-up (return of symptoms)
• You must have read, understood, and signed a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

• You are not able or not willing to give your consent to take part
• You have a psychiatric condition or intellectual impairment that means you cannot fully understand the study information or give informed consent
• You are under legal guardianship or have a court-appointed guardian managing your affairs
• You are receiving state medical assistance known as AME (a specific French government programme) (confirm with trial site)
• Your haemoglobin level (a measure of red blood cells in your blood) is below 7 g/dl at the time of the blood sample
• Your haemoglobin level is below 9 g/dl at the time of the blood sample, and you also have a heart or lung condition
• You weigh less than 18 kg (approximately 40 lbs)
