Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 19 and 74 years old, and your body weight falls within a healthy to moderately overweight range (BMI under 40)
• You are generally in good health, as assessed by the lead doctor based on your medical history
• If you are a healthy volunteer, your blood pressure and resting heart rate are in a normal range without needing medication; if you have knee arthritis and high blood pressure, it must be well-controlled with medication, and your resting heart rate must be in a normal range
• If you are a woman who could become pregnant or who has gone through menopause less than a year ago, you must be using a reliable form of birth control (such as hormonal contraceptives, double barrier methods, or complete abstinence) for at least one full monthly cycle before taking the study drug

Who may not be able to join:

• You have had an allergic reaction or sensitivity to any ingredient in Pitocin® (a form of oxytocin)
• You have a medical or surgical condition that the lead doctor believes could put you at risk, affect your ability to follow the study procedures, or affect the quality of results (for example, certain uterine conditions with active bleeding)
• You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or have been pregnant within the last 2 years
• You have nerve damage (neuropathy), chronic pain, diabetes, or you take benzodiazepines or pain medications every day
• You have eye problems, have had eye surgery, use eye drops regularly, or have any condition that causes shaking or unusual eye movements
