Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years old or older
- You must have had one or more strokes, with your most recent stroke happening at least six months ago
- You must have weakness in your arm or hand that makes it hard to do everyday tasks with the affected hand
- All the fingers on your affected hand must be able to move through their full range of motion when someone else moves them for you
- You must be able to understand and follow instructions
- You must have some basic muscle control in the upper part of your affected arm (shoulder and elbow area)
Who may not be able to join:
- You may not be eligible if you have other neurological conditions (conditions affecting the brain or nerves) besides stroke
- You may not be eligible if you have other problems affecting the bones, joints, or muscles of your affected arm or hand
- You may not be eligible if you have significant muscle stiffness or tightness in your affected arm that would prevent a device from fitting properly
