Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 6 to 65 years old (male or female)
- People who have been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (eczema) according to standard medical diagnostic criteria
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are already enrolled in another clinical trial
- People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to any product used in the skin decolonisation process used in this trial (confirm with trial site)
- People who have used immune-suppressing or immune-modifying medications — such as corticosteroids, cyclosporine, mycophenolate, JAK inhibitors, azathioprine, or methotrexate — within the past 4 weeks
- People who have had light therapy (phototherapy) for eczema within the past 4 weeks
- People who have been treated with certain biologic medicines (such as dupilumab, omalizumab, or benralizumab) within the past 16 weeks
- People who have used topical (applied to the skin) steroids, topical calcineurin inhibitors, or crisaborole within the past 7 days
- People who have taken bleach baths within the 7 days before the first visit
- People who have used antibiotic medications — either oral or topical — within the past 21 days
- People with asthma who are taking more than 500 micrograms per day of inhaled corticosteroids
- People with a history of HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, tuberculosis, or cancer
- People with other skin conditions that may affect how results are measured, such as psoriasis or cutaneous T-cell lymphoma
- People with serious ongoing health conditions, such as heart disease, kidney disease, or autoimmune disease
- People who have a fever or febrile illness at the time of their visits
- People with a suspected immune system deficiency, or a family history of a primary immune deficiency condition
