Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 85 years old
- People who are able to walk at least 10 metres on their own, with or without a walking aid such as a cane or walker
- People who had a stroke at least 6 months ago
- People who have a caregiver available to help with at-home training exercises
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have difficulty both speaking and understanding language due to their stroke (a condition called aphasia)
- People who are unable to follow instructions that involve more than one step at a time
- People who are currently taking part in another rehabilitation program focused on their legs
- People who have severe pain in the leg that was affected by their stroke
- People who have significant stiffness in their ankle that limits movement beyond a certain point (confirm with trial site)
- People who have an implanted electronic device, such as a pacemaker, spinal cord stimulator, or deep brain stimulator, because the electrical stimulation used in this trial may interfere with how those devices work
