Who might be able to join this trial:
- Women aged 18 or older at the time of signing the consent form.
- People who are planning to have surgery for one of the following cancers: high-grade serous ovarian cancer (Cohort A), breast cancer of a certain grade and size greater than 3 cm (Cohort B), or a widespread non-invasive breast cancer combined with a visible invasive tumour where mastectomy is planned (Cohort C).
- People who have previously received chemotherapy before surgery are still eligible, and all types of chemotherapy are permitted (confirm with trial site).
- People who are able to understand, sign, and date a consent form before any trial procedures begin, and who are willing to follow the procedures required by the trial.
- People who have medical insurance coverage.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are under legal guardianship or trusteeship.
- People whose cancer is linked to an inherited BRCA1 or BRCA2 gene mutation.
- People who have previously been treated with certain immune checkpoint therapies (such as PD-1, PD-L1, or CTLA-4 inhibitors).
- People who have received immune-suppressing or immune-stimulating medications within the 2 weeks before joining the trial — with some exceptions for certain low-dose or locally applied steroids such as inhalers, nasal sprays, skin creams, or a low daily dose of oral steroids (confirm with trial site).
- People with a known history of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel disease, myasthenia gravis, or similar conditions, or who have hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV infection.
- People who have another active cancer at the same time, unless it is a type of skin cancer considered unlikely to affect the trial results and approved by the trial sponsor. People previously treated for another cancer with no return of that cancer for at least one year may still be eligible.
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
