Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older who have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer at an early to intermediate stage (known as T1-3).
- People whose breast cancer has spread to the lymph nodes under the arm, confirmed by physical examination, ultrasound, and a contrast CT scan before surgery.
- People who had a full breast removal (mastectomy) and were found to have cancer in at least one sentinel lymph node (the first lymph node checked during surgery).
- People who had breast-conserving surgery (where only part of the breast is removed) and were found to have cancer in more than two sentinel lymph nodes.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who received chemotherapy before their surgery (known as neoadjuvant chemotherapy).
- People who have a previous history of breast cancer.
