Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with gout (based on 2015 medical guidelines), OR a condition called calcium pyrophosphate crystal disease (CPPD), OR a condition called hydroxyapatite crystal rheumatism (HCR), where calcium deposits are visible on medical scans
- You are someone who has had, or would benefit from, a special type of ultrasound scan and/or a special X-ray scan (called DECT) to look for crystal deposits in the joints
- Your doctor suspects you may have a crystal-related joint condition and needs further scans to confirm the diagnosis
Who may not be able to join:
- You are unable or unwilling to have an ultrasound or DECT scan for any reason
- You do not agree to allow your health information to be used for research purposes
- You are under legal guardianship or a similar form of supervised legal protection
- You are pregnant
- You are not enrolled in or entitled to French social security (or an equivalent scheme) (confirm with trial site)
