Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which means having at least one medium-sized deposit (called a drusen) in your eye measuring more than 63 micrometres; OR you have normal age-related eye changes with only small deposits (63 micrometres or smaller), or no eye abnormalities at all (as a comparison participant)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have an eye condition or other health condition (apart from AMD) that could affect the ability to examine your retina (the back of your eye) or track AMD progression
- You have a mental or physical condition that would prevent you from signing a consent form or taking part in the study
