  • You have been diagnosed with schizophrenia based on standard medical guidelines, and your psychiatric medications have not changed in at least 4 weeks
  • You have a moderate to severe cannabis use problem (as defined by standard medical guidelines) and have used cannabis in the past 7 days
  • You want to reduce or stop using cannabis
  • You are receiving compulsory (court-ordered or legally required) mental health care in an outpatient setting

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a serious problem with other substances (such as alcohol or other drugs), not including nicotine/tobacco
  • You currently have another psychiatric diagnosis, not including a personality disorder
  • You are currently admitted to a hospital as an inpatient
  • You have a history of a significant head injury, a neurological condition that has affected your brain, or a serious unstable physical health condition
  • You are pregnant or are not using contraception
  • You have any medical reason why you cannot safely have brain stimulation (tDCS) or an MRI scan, such as metal implants in your body, epilepsy that is not well controlled, or high pressure in your brain (confirm with trial site)
