Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 80 years old
- You have active inflammation in the lower part of your small intestine and/or colon, confirmed by a camera test (colonoscopy) showing a score above a certain level
- You have been experiencing frequent bowel movements and abdominal pain at a level above a certain threshold, based on your own reported symptoms over 7 days
- A stool test shows a high level of a protein called calprotectin (above 250 µg/g), which indicates active inflammation in the gut
Who may not be able to join:
- You currently have an abscess (a pocket of infection) in your bowel
- You have had part of your bowel surgically removed within the last 6 months

- You have a significant narrowing of the bowel that doctors think may need surgery
- You are currently pregnant
- You are currently breastfeeding, or you are planning to become pregnant during the study
- You are unwilling or unable to follow the specific diet required by the study
