Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have been diagnosed with stage 3 or stage 4 lung cancer (a type called non-small cell lung cancer), esophageal cancer, or a cancer of the lymph system (lymphoma), and your doctors plan to treat it with the goal of curing the disease

  • You have a facial difference or deformity that would make it impossible to wear a fitted face mask used during treatment

  • Your planned radiation treatment uses higher doses per session (3 or more units called Gray per session — confirm with trial site)
  • You have severe heart failure where your heart is pumping at less than 30% of its normal capacity
